Meditations - Thoughts on Divine Mercy

The greater the sinner the greater the right he has to God's Mercy

Our Lord Speaks:

“I am sending you with My mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My merciful heart.” (Diary 1588) “You are secretary of My mercy; I have chosen you for office in this and the next life.” (Diary 1605)... “To make known to souls the great mercy that I have for them, and to exhort them to trust in the bottomless depth of My mercy.” (Diary 1567)

Our Lord Speaks:

“Make known to souls the great mercy that I have for them and to exhort them to trust in the bottomless depths of My mercy.” (Diary 1567)

Our Lord Speaks:

“I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy.” (Diary 687) “I am Love and Mercy itself. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill it with such an abundance of grace that it cannot be contained within itself, but radiates to other souls.” (Diary 1074)

One of the criminals hanging there reviled Jesus, saying, “Are you not the Messiah? Save yourself and us.” The other, however, rebuking him, said in reply, “Have you no fear of God, for you are subject to the same condemnation? And indeed we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” He replied to him, “Amen, I say to you. Today you will be with Me in paradise.” (Luke 23: 39-43)

“Two people went up to the temple area to pray; one was a Pharisee and the other was a tax collector. The Pharisee took up his position and spoke this prayer to himself, ‘O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity - greedy, dishonest, adulterous - or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week, and I pay tithes on my whole income.’ But the tax collector stood off at a distance and would not even raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast and prayed, O God, be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, the latter went home justified, not the former; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 18: 10-14)

Gods love is mercy, no matter how far you are away from Him or how sinful you may be; your sins are but a drop of water in His ocean of Mercy. Trust Him and believe in Him, He wants to lavish His mercy upon you. It is never too late, as long you have one last breath of air in you.

Jesus, I trust in You
